BGP Service Requirements

To ensure optimal security, stability, and global compliance for your network, customers must adhere to the following Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) requirements.

Valid ASN (Autonomous System Number)

A registered ASN is mandatory. It must be formally registered under your organization's name with the relevant Regional Internet Registry (RIPE, ARIN, APNIC, etc.).

Routable IP Subnets

You must provide properly registered IPv4 or IPv6 prefixes. These subnets must be publicly verifiable and associated with your ASN in a public Internet Registry.

Letter of Authorization (LOA)

A signed authorization is required, explicitly granting FitServers permission to announce your prefixes. This critical measure safeguards your routes against hijacking.
